Hi All!

I hope everyone had a great Holiday season!

Now that it's over I am definitely relieved and ready to start the New Year!

We had about 5 family Christmas events that we attended. Which is a lot! Mark and I were both exhausted by the time the weekend was over.

For New Year's Eve we ended up hosting a party at our house. It turned out to b...

Who's ready to brave the cold and snow?! Colorado is going to drop in temperature this weekend with some snow on the way. A high of 3 degrees is expected on Saturday! I won't be doing much that day. I may try and get out to the barn to visit Java and Baby but anything below 10 degrees is really pushing it to be able to ride......but we will s...

December 9, 2016

With winter here, my trips to the barn to ride are becoming less and less. During the week the sun sets before I'm off work, and with only an outdoor arena to work with it makes it hard. Weather plays a huge factor as well. This week we've had temps in the low teens and below zero at night. If it's windy or snowing you won't find me braving i...

Not only can you monitor your horse everyday. This definitely would be super helpful in high stress situations like:  1. Travelling 2. Showing 3. New Pasture mates 4. New Barn

Roeckl Winter Riding Gloves Review

November 17, 2016

Thanks to for the questions!

1) What discipline do you ride right now?

2) If you had to switch your discipline, which one would you choose?

Reining, I've done a little bit of it before and find it to be very similar to Dressage! I would also do Western Dressage as I think that would be a lot of fun as well, espec...

November 15, 2016

I can't remember the last time we went until November 15th without seeing any snow in the Denver area! This past weekend it was balmy as the temperatures continued into the mid 70s. Usually this time of year we've had at least 2-3 snow storms and the weather drops to the 50s. It's been record breaking and it's been super dry! I can't wait for...

Recently, I've been researching ways to increase my core strength and hip flexibility. Over the past year, I've seen my seat position deteriorate. I was startin

Even during the last weekend in October, Colorado saw some gorgeous weather with highs near 76 degrees! Which is why I was able to do just a t shirt and breeches for my riding outfit.

I love the sparkles in the back! I've washed these 3-4 times so far and haven't lost a single one! These are really lightweight and stretchy as well....

Baby and I have come so far since I met him some 12 or so years ago. This picture was taken within the first few months that my Dad purchased Baby for me from my wonderful Trainer. We didn't know what we were dealing with when we first hauled him to the Colorado Horse Park for the Halloween with Horses event. Just my dad, Baby, and me (at 15...

As fall begins, it signals that winter is close advancing. As with anything, preparedness is key and doing some planning a head of time can make a big difference.

Here in Colorado, we usually see snow on the ground by the end of October, so these are things you can start thinking about now.
