This winter I was in the market for some really warm and lightweight gloves that would hold up to use at the barn.
I got a pair of heavy duty Kerrits gloves last year that I still keep in my car but they are a little too bulky when tacking up and dealing with buckles.
This year I think I found the perfect option for me. Introducing the Roeckl Madison Winter Gloves.
I really like the look and detail that these feature. It kind of reminds me of a faux croc or snakeskin pattern. I went with just the plain black but they also come in Blue/Black.
The lining is super soft and really warm. I was able to tack up with no issues. I like the look of these a lot and the bottom is a material that has some grip to it.
The velcro is good quality and it has a slope to it that really seals the glove to your hand so that you don't have any cold air coming in.
I also have a bad habit of wearing rings out to the barn and my engagement ring fit under these with no issue.
It's machine washable in cold water!
Roeckl gloves are definitely worth the investment in general and I think these will be as well.
The only issue I had with these were that the touchscreen on my phone was really hard to use, but that's the case with most winter gloves on the market. I don't mind pulling one glove off if I really need to use my phone for something, I usually just keep it in my pocket anyways.
